Another Girl, Another Planet is the title of a song by English new wave group The Only Ones (fronted by Peter Perrett), the second track on their 1978 eponymous debut, and released as a single later in the same year.
The song has been covered several times by The Libertines, Babyshambles and by Peter Doherty acoustically. It was played by The Libertines live at the infamous Rhythm Factory in London, England, in April 2004, where they were joined onstage by Peter Perrett. An acoustic version of Doherty playing the track is also available as part of his Whitechapel Demonstrations. In a 2002 interview on MTV with Zane Lowe, Doherty sang the song in reply to a question about "one song you wished you wrote," changing the words of the first verse from "your threats" to "Carl's threats"
