Never Never is a B Side track recorded and released by The Libertines , and is somewhat of a fan favourite. Although it was only released as a B Side to "Can't Stand Me Now," there is another recording available to download on the Internet that was intended to be included on The Libertines' second, self titled album, although was not included on the final versions.
Other versions of "Never Never" include an acoustic version featuring only Peter Doherty and acoustic guitar, and a "Hancock Version". The Hancock version features samples from the TV show 'Hancock’s Half Hour', and was described as a "near mythical recording" by the NME.

I was sucking on a cigarette
Where did that crowd come from?
There all the pennies for the slot machines
Sells you back your dreams
That's fine in hell, boy
So that's fine with you
Why don't we try it again now
My heart won't sing
Until that story's all untold
Yes she buckled my spine and tattered my soul
Boy ain't that a wonder
But didn't you always say
There's gonna be a better way
I'm still lining them up
and knocking them down with you
Did you see this girl, that girl,
Look, oh, never never
Can I stay here forever?
You have it on the never never
Never you mind
I'll find it somewhere over the railings
But didn't that tall man say
There's gonna to be a better way
I'm still lining them up
and knocking them down with you
I was sucking on a string
Where did that crowd come from?
See there the pennies from the slot machines
Sells you back your dream
That's fine in hell, boy
So it's fine with you
But didn't you always say
There's gonna be a better way
I'm still lining them up
and knocking them down with you
and...I'm in love with you
