War Of The Roses was released as track #8 on Carl Barat & The Jackals' debut album, Let It Reign, released on Cooking Vinyl in the UK/Europe and Grand Jury in the U.S.

War Of The Roses was first put online by Carl in January 28, 2013, when doing a Q&A on Facebook. When asked what he listens to on a monday evening, Barât answered "I'm mostly consumed in my bedroom demos at the moment, do you want to hear one?" followed by a link to a demo on his Soundcloud.

Some fans have compared the track to 'In Bloom' by Nirvana.
