I Get Along is a Libertines track, credited to Doherty and Barat that was written with rebellion in mind, and released four times by the band. For The Libertines' first (double A Side) single both Barat and Doherty wrote a song about themselves; while Doherty wrote What a Waster about himself, Barat similarly wrote "I Get Along".
The second release was on The Libertines' debut album, Up the Bracket, on which it features as the 12th and final track. It was released again in late 2003, when it featured on an EP that was only released in the US (but has since became avalible in the UK), known as the I Get Along EP . Most recently, I get Along was released on Time for Heroes - The Best of the Libertines
Much later after it was released as a single, a music video was released for I Get Along. Although there are many rumours as to why Doherty didn't feature in the video, it is probably true that he simply didn't turn up for the shoot.
