Brendan Kersey is the former bass player with the band Yeti. When he left the band in early 2007, Hassall took over on bass duties, yet there was no official explanation about the change. It soon became apparent that Kersey had joined London band The Early Years. Yeti played their first show as a 4 piece without Kersey at the famous Proud Gallery in London on August 29, 2007. The show was the last official concert at the Proud Gallery, which was knocked down to make way for a shopping centre. When asked how he met with the rest of the band in an interview, Kersey replied; "Me and Andy met on a New Deal training scheme. In music engineering. We wrote a few hardcore Drum N Bass dance songs together".
