Suits Punk Military is the title of a Dirty Pretty Things track, that is only available in live recording form. It made its debut at Dirty Pretty Things' Shepherds Bush gig on April 22nd 2007. The song was initially expected to be included on Dirty Pretty Things' second album, Romance at Short Notice, or as a B-side.
According to a 2007 interview with Carl Barat in the Southern edition of the Big Issue magazine, on the cover of which the band appeared in suits, punk, and military garb, the song title criticizes the commercialization of band fashions in the post-Libertines music scene, all while celebrating "the real thing, too" - "something that means a lot and that shouldn't be taken over and made the norm."
