Revelations (previously High upon the Numbers or Way upon the numbers) is the B Side track to the 7" version of Babyshambles single, You Talk. The track has been around since very-late 2005, when Paul Roundhill uploaded a version called "High upon the Numbers" to Balachada.com; this was an acoustic version featuring just Doherty on guitar, with quite different lyrics to the newer B Side version. The same video was also uploaded to the French Dog Blues website, but was called "Way upon the numbers". The only other version of the song available before the B Side version was one uploaded onto YouTube by TexasBob, featuring a topless Doherty playing the guitar, and rapper Purple rapping the lyrics.
When a photograph of what appeared to be a tracklisting for Doherty's solo album leaked in January 2006 (after Peters New Years eve guerrilla gig), Upon the Numbers was written as Track #1. When Grace/Wastelands was eventually released in 2009, however, Revelations did not feature.
The B Side version features the rapper known as Purple. Much to fans disappointment, the track was only made available on the 7" version of You Talk, and the B Sides to the CD version of the single were just acoustic versions of songs that were already available.

I dont want to leave my room
I'm happy in my dust and gloom
and I have been ever since
the revelations began
ever since the revelations began
when the revelation begun
man i just know i say a long lung lung?
way back when upon the room of albion
the first anti-christ was napoleon
that's so typical of you,
so typical of me oh me oh me oh
way up on the numbers, high up on the numbers
nobody could see what you see in me oh me oh
way up on the numbers, upon the numbers
two wrongs dont make a right
but for five minutes it felt alright
(blargh?) when the revelation begun
man i just know i say a long lung lung?
way back when upon the room of albion
the first anti-christ was napoleon
and hitler is the second one
(garble?) manifest in a worldwide satan
king soloman was the wisest man
but yet still he get tricked by a woman
that's so typical of you
so typical of me oh me oh me oh
way up on the numbers, high up on the numbers
nobody could see, nobody believed
way up on the numbers, high up on the numbers
one and one is three, if you throw in one for free, oh free me
upon the numbers, upon the numbers
(wahssaid)?, just walk the walk, talk the talk
Billy Bilo cant smoke a pipe in peace, too much bothera, too much police.
i dont want to leave my room
quite happy in my dust and gloom
and i have been ever since
the revelations began
ever since the revelations began
ever since the revelations began
ever since the revelations began
