The Whole World Is Our Playground is an old Peter Doherty solo number, first recorded by a very early Babyshambles line-up in their Sailor sessions, and has since been recorded in numerous sessions.
In March 2016, Doherty announced that the track would feature on his second solo album, and would be the first single to be taken from the album. The official single version was played for the first time by Radio X on 14th April 216, shortly followed by the official music video, uploaded to Peter's YouTube channel, on the 16th April.
