Lust of the Libertines is that title of an early Libertines track that was never officially released during their first run. In 2015, it was announced that the track would feature on The Libertines' third album, due to be released in September that year, as a deluxe edition bonus track.

The title of the song was taken from 'The Lust of the Libertines' by Marquis de Sade, the rather controversial 18th Century French writer of novels, plays, and short stories.
